Dropping my children off at school this morning, many Mums were feeling guilty that their children weren't wearing gloves and scarves today. Some couldn't find a matching pair and one little boy was crying because his fingers were so cold, bless him! So, at the start of a very cold week here in Buckinghamshire, we thought it would be fitting to run a Glove & Mitten Clips Giveaway. 

It seems that the Winter weather has finally arrived and my favourite Kids Winter accessory (for me as it saves my time searching in the morning) has to be Glove Clips.

As a Mum of 3, I tune in to anything that will make my life easier

Party Bag gifts, Top Party Tips & The Gruffalo

I love kids parties... and with 3 children we've had quite a few over the last 10 years!  

Our first 'School Party' was at a local Kid's Theatre watching The Gruffalo. The kids loved it and having the entertainment laid on is always a good move, particularly when you're dealing with a class of hyper 5 year old boys. 

Having said that, the Stage production of The Gruffalo at Camp Bestival this year was fantastic. The kids and the adults were mesmerised. (Watch it here )

 

Over the years, we've had Clown Parties, Football parties, Bowling Parties & Fairy parties to name a few...

Entertaining the children yourself can be fun if the children are slightly older. Craft parties - particularly for girls - are great but for younger children or slightly older party-hardened kids, it can be hard work.

And then there's Pinatas... such a choice now. Even life-sized animals! 

The kids love them and they look great. However, the kids do need to be supervised to avoid them hitting one another by mistake!

With Summer fast approaching we are still busy putting together a Children's Summer Range. We are using some beautiful fabrics this summer. Our 'Indian Summer' Special Occassion dress is simply exquisite. With metallic threads and silk detailing, the fabric is incredibly sophisticated for a little girl; although the dress style is classically timeless. Some Mums have even asked if we can make Adult versions! We have chosen some funkier fabrics too - ice cream sundae prints, ladybirds and beautiful butterflies, spanning Pinks, Blues and Greens.
